Tamborim Dream -Vivian's Bedroom-

"Tamborim Dream" is an album recorded during a seven-hour jam session held at Week-End Fest 2023 in "Vivian's Bedroom," an exhibition room showcasing the works of artist Vivian Suter.

Led by Cologne-based artist Thomas Meckel, the session is based around a modified Brazilian tambourin drum connected to a specially developed music computer, recording harmonic sequences and (poly)rhythming them in new ways.

Musicians from the Cologne music scene and international artists from the festival, including Ana Frango Elétrico, Josephine Stamer and Simon Waskow, improvised on this set-up, resulting in a dynamic album.
